JEMAI is commissioned as the organizing body for the National Certification Examination for Pollution Control Managers. Since 1993, JEMAI has been expanding its activities from conventional industrial pollution issues to global environmental issues. (e.g. developing tools for environmental management and popularization of LCA, business endeavors for Eco-leaf environmental labeling, carbon footprint products and others) JEMAI serves as the secretariats in Japan for ISO/TC 207 subcommittees (SC3: Environmental Labeling, SC5: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and others). In 2006, The Joint Article Management Promotion-consortium (JAMP) was started, which promotes global activities with entire industries to realize chemical risk management.

Gentle Lighting is involved with the construction and sales of "electrodeless lamps", a replacement for mercury lamps. Selected as a Kawasaki City Show Window Model Business in 2012 and 2014, electrodeless lamps were installed in the Inada Junior High School gymnasium and the Horoseki Shopping Arcade in Kawasaki City. Electrodeless lamps are also used in a variety of locations such as the Kawasaki Southern Market, NAS swimming pools, tennis courts, automobile factories, etc. Flicker-causing pulses have been eliminiated and noise has been reduced so that use is possible in medical facilities. We will display electrodeless lamps, which are next-generation lighting to replace mercury lamps. They save power, save electricity and can light up the room with soft luminance. There have been many natural disasters recently in which glass has broken, causing danger for people. Broken glass could also increase the risks of property intrusion.
