| Meiji University | We introduce a novel unmanned volcano exploration robot system in this event. This system is based on research results regarding mobile robot (Planetary Rover) which enables us to explore moon/mars surface. Since the rovers have solar power supply energy self-sufficiency features, it can be controlled remotely from ultra-long distance with continuous long-term autonomous operating function, it is expected that this rover would be successfully applied to the activities under severe environmental conditions, such as volcano. | F-19 |
