Through a virtuous cycle of environment and industry based on this policy, the Kawasaki Green Innovation Cluster functions as a network comprised of companies, NPOs, private citizens, scholars, and public organizations seeking to build a better society. |

| Kawasaki City, Environmental Protection Bureau Low CO2 Kawasaki Brand Kawasaki Mechanism | 【Industrial information】 Kawasaki City implements the "Low CO2 Kawasaki Brand" project, to certify products and technology that contribute to CO2 reduction throughout their entire life cycle, from procurement of raw materials to disposal and recycling, with the goal of promoting countermeasures against global warming that make use of environmental technology.In addition, the "Kawasaki Mechanism Certification System" recognizes the amount of contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gases outside of the City (amount of contribution outside of Kawasaki) by the excellent environmental technology of businesses within the City, the first such program implemented by a local govenment in Japan. Through cutting-edge programs such as these, Kawasaki City promotes efforts to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases on a global scale. |

| Waterworks Bureau,City of Kawasaki | 【Industrial information】 Waterworks Bureau, City of Kawasaki is making efforts to establish “water circulation system” by integrally conducting tap water system, industrial water system and sewerage system. And we contribute to safe and comfortable lives of citizens and creation of favorable water environment. Also, for creating a low-carbon and recycling-oriented society, we utilize sludge and advanced treatment wastewater resulting from water, industrial water and wastewater treatment process, as well as working on good use of renewable energy. Moreover, we try to contribute improving water environment all over the world by utilizing technologies, knowledge and experiences which we have accumulated through longtime management in waterworks and sewerage field. |

| Kawasaki Water Business Network | 【Industrial information】 For the enhancement of the global water environment through water-related business, a platform “Kawasaki Water Business Network” (KaWaBiz NET) was established in Aug. 2012 between private enterprises which have water-related technologies / products, and the City of Kawasaki which has technologies and expertise of water / sewerage management, in cooperation with relevant ministries and organizations. KaWaBiz NET consists of 52 members and 13 cooperators at present and is engaged in the activities with members to enhance water environment through successful water business mainly in Asian region where City of Kawasaki has relationship. |

| Japan Environmental Management Association for Industry | 【Industrial information】 JEMAI is commissioned as the organizing body for the National Certification Examination for Pollution Control Managers. Since 1993, JEMAI has been expanding its activities from conventional industrial pollution issues to global environmental issues. (e.g. developing tools for environmental management and popularization of LCA, business endeavors for Eco-leaf environmental labeling, carbon footprint products and others) JEMAI serves as the secretariats in Japan for ISO/TC 207 subcommittees (SC3: Environmental Labeling, SC5: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and others). In 2006, The Joint Article Management Promotion-consortium (JAMP) was started, which promotes global activities with entire industries to realize chemical risk management. |

| Showa Denko K. K. Kawasaki Plant | 【Industrial information】 In 1931, we successfully manufactured ammonia and ammonium sulfate using a domestic production method (Tokyo industrial testing method) for the first time in Japan, thus marking the start of our history. Currently we boast an extensive lineup of products in addition to ammonia, such as basic chemicals including caustic soda and sodium hypochlorite; industrial gases centering on nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen; high purity gases (such as ammonia and chlorine) that are required for the manufacture of semiconductors, liquid crystals, and LED; special chemicals such as food additives and cosmetics materials; and columns for fast chromatography, which is a technology used for the separation and analysis of chemical substances. |
【Exhibition information】 We will provide displays regarding our business of turning used plastic into ammonia raw materials (removing hydrogen from plastic and using this as raw materials for ammonia manufacturing), and displays regarding our LED lighting plant factory where we use our own unique fast cultivation methods. |

| Kanto Branch of Japan Patent Attorneys Association | 【Industrial information】 The Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA) is the only juristic entity in Japan regarding patent attorneys and was established in 1922 on the basis of the Patent Attorney Act. In order to work as a patent attorney, it is required to be registered in the JPAA. Therefore, all the patent attorneys in Japan are members of the JPAA. The Kanto Branch of JPAA is a branch organization of JPAA in the Kanto area (Tokyo and seven other prefectures) which carries out various activities, such as the improvement of capabilities of its members through workshops and study, and activities for the popularization and support of intellectual property rights. |
【Exhibition information】 Patent attorneys provide consultation regarding application procedures of patents, utility models, design and trademarks as well as troubles related to them free of charge. Moreover, they also provide consultation on issues regarding not only domestic but overseas intellectual property rights. Furthermore, they also give explanations on "Benrishi Navi (Patent attorneys' navigation)," a useful search site when searching for a patent attorney, and distribute various leaflets which explains intellectual property rights in an easily understood manner. |

| UNION.CO.,LTD | 【Industrial information】 Manufacture and sale of the antibacterial resin (bio-based polymer) product and material "UNI-PELE" that uses plant-based raw materials. Compared with regular resins, "UNI-PELE" is roughly the same price, but it lowers the release of toxic gases when burned. The amount of CO2 released can be reduced by 46.9%. The antibacterial properties of the resin prevent the propagation of bacteria such as escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus. |
