We will exhibit technology that can optically sort waste plastic of differing quality.

Based on Container and Packaging Recycling Law ("Act on the Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging" Container and Packaging Recycling Law), our company recycles household waste plastic while manufacturing and selling pallets made from the recycled material in order to create a recycling-based society. Our Futtsu plastic recycling plant is the largest plastic-material recycling plant in Chiba Prefecture, and one of few of its size in the nation.

Kawasaki City is promoting the 3R's with the aim of creating a sustainable, recycling-oriented society that is friendly to the global environment.
We have a separation and collection system in which nine types of items are divided into eight different categories, and we are working hard to increase recycling and reduce the volume of garbage. In collaboration with our citizens, this fiscal year we have started a ""3 management facility structure"" because one of our four waste management facilities is offline for construction.


We will introduce Kawasaki City's many initiatives aimed at waste management flow, environment educational facilities, and recycling promotion.

Kureha Ecology Management contributes to global environmental conservation through industrial waste collection, transport, and intermediate treatment, as well as the overall engineering and other aspects of environment-related equipment. Based on the needs of our customers, we endeavor to develop technology and in the upcoming years will deliver equipment that can process VOC flue gases contained in emissions from production equipment. We are also making active initiatives for detoxification of POPs (low-concentration PCB, PFOS, etc.) and other substances. Furthermore, aiming at the realization of a low carbon society, we operate a rated-value 4.8MW waste power plant and have completed a field study of implementing wood-based biomass power generation technology in Penang State, Malaysia, in collaboration with Kawasaki City. Preparations are now under way for a verification test.

We realized recycling from resource collection through to product manufacture. Founded in 2003 as the first resource recycling-based society model project promoted by Japan, we were the world’s first zero-emissions paper mill. In October 2015, the company name was changed to Corelex San-ei Co., Ltd. Tokyo Mill to mark a new start. Throughout the factory, there are “recycling-based paper production lines” built with globally cutting-edge equipment. Each month, we process as much as 7,000 tons of recovered paper, producing around 1.1 million units of toilet paper per day

Touyourozai was established in 1961 as Touyou Rozai Kougyosho. The Industrial Furnace Division builds systems integrated across design, execution, and maintenance, responding to the needs of manufacturing in Japan with the technology relied on by the industrial furnaces that are essential to manufacturing. The Environmental Furnace Division also aims to contribute to society by using the technology gained from industrial furnace development to construct furnaces than can detoxify the toxins emitted with combustible waste is burned. Under the motto of "Kind to People, Kind to the Environment", the Environmental Furnace Division strives to make proactive use of recyclable materials via the effective use of resources to create artistic spaces. The Overseas Business Division, the last of the 4 business divisions at Touyourozai, has opened a branch in Laos to import wood and other materials.

The company will exhibit photographs of its achievements in the areas of production and construction in which it is active, based primarily on its environmentally-friendly products, beginning with man-made wooden decking built from waste wood and recycled resin, as well as paving slabs that help deal with the problems of the water environment, such as urban flooding. In addition, business results and special products such as textiles, leather, and other accessories from the Overseas Business Division's activities in Laos will be introduced.

Japan Environmental Sanitation Center has been established in 1954 as a nonprofit organization geared towards the improvement of the living environment. JESC actively pursues environmental protection and conservation through the whole range of its activities in order to contribute to worldwide efforts on creating a healthier global environment.

We will display panels introducing projects related to international cooperation, human resource development, and disaster recovery support initiatives for the Great East Japan Earthquake. Furthermore, we will also introduce the project study on the role of the energy business in supplying society with electricity generated from waste, as covered through our publication, "Research Society on the Role of Waste Power Generation Going Forward".

PET Refine Technology is a resin manufacturer. It uses Japan’s only chemical recycling technique capable of polymerizing the raw material, “BHET,” a base polymer produced by the chemical breakdown and refining of used PET bottles, to renew used bottles into resins that have the same quality as virgin PET resin.
