Kawasaki City is home to a strong concentration of recycling facilities, manufacturers, and other businesses equipped with advanced environmental technologies. By leveraging these local resources, we are actively working toward the transition to a circular economy. At the same time, we aim to play a leading role in building a circular and sustainable society by fostering collaboration among a wide range of stakeholders.

As the global community faces the urgent challenge of shifting away from resource dependence and establishing a balanced cycle between economic growth and environmental sustainability, this exhibition will once again focus on the circular economy, following last year’s event.

While the 18th fair primarily sought to raise awareness and understanding of circular economy concepts and initiatives, the 19th fair will take the next step—aiming to generate value through co-creation and to advance practical implementation of circular economy approaches, starting here in Kawasaki.
