Technologies related to this year’s theme, “Circular Economy,” will be showcased at the main entrance of the venue.
Recycled materials will be used in the decoration of display stands and other elements, making this area a symbolic representation of the exhibition’s core message.
With the aim of achieving both a decarbonized society and sustainable economic growth, the 18th Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair will be held to create business matching opportunities for visitors to develop new businesses, expand sales channels, and more.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Creating Business Opportunities in the Circular Economy”.
Last year, our city celebrated its historic 100th anniversary, and as we move towards the next 100 years, our challenge continues with the creation of a new Kawasaki. As part of our efforts to protect the local environment, we are working towards becoming a “100% plastic recycling society”, where plastic products and plastic containers are collected together and recycled. Additionally, in order to realize carbon neutrality in the Kawasaki coastal area, we are accelerating efforts for the social implementation of the liquefied hydrogen supply chain by working on projects in collaboration with various companies.
Amid the global movement toward decarbonization, which calls for the realization of a virtuous cycle between the economy and the environment—including changes in the behavior and values of people and companies, and responses to the increasingly intense economic and social structural changes that will take place in the future, this exhibition will introduce to attendees the importance of resource recycling and climate change countermeasures in business operations, cutting-edge trends in the financial sector, and the latest information on constructing a sustainable supply chain from supply to sales.
Through promoting exchanges and collaborations with a wide range of people from various industries and start-up companies looking to take their first steps toward new growth, we hope to turn the challenges of accelerating and strengthening efforts toward sustainable operations into opportunities for economic growth, and to disseminate technologies that are key to the future from here in Kawasaki, thereby bolstering the competitiveness of industries.
We hope that you will take advantage of this event as a venue for exchanges that will lead to the acquisition of business opportunities and the formation of new connections.
